~* About This Blog*~

This Blog was created by me and for me. I dont take suggestions and I dont really care what you have to say in regards to content or design of this Blog. As far as individual posts go, I would love to hear your opinions in the comment section (especially if your opinion is radically different then mine). I try to post often, but sometimes a week will go by where I am to busy to post anything.

  Earth Day every day

The first Earth Day was April 22, 1970. This is the only thing I can establish as fact in the history of Earth Day.

Somehow I cannot find the truth about Earth Days origin. Some sources say that it was founded by Former U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson who modeled Earth Day on anti-Vietnam War demonstrations, called "teach-ins," that were common on college campuses.
The other explanation, is that it was founded by John McConnell. McConnell proposed in early October 1969 to Peter Tamaras, who headed the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. Tamaras requested John McConnell to write an Earth Day proclamation. John McConnell wrote a Proclamation and presented it to the Mayor of San Francisco, Joseph L. Alioto. On March 1, 1970, Mayor Alioto issued that Proclamation as the Earth Day Proclamation for San Francisco.
As far as I’m concerned, Who gives a shit? It was a great fucking idea. It’s sad that we need to name a day “Earth Day” to bring some fucking environmental responsibility and awareness but that is the reality of the situation. We need to be aware of the serious damage we are doing to our planet every second of every day.

Cars –
Cars are really making me crazy. There are fucking cars every fucking where at every fucking time of every fucking day. Car-craze is a serious problem. Why do people need to fucking drive every where? Goddamit! Get off of your fat lazy asses and walk. How about Biking? HMMM.. Imagine that. Exercise and saving the environment. What a concept. Another problem I have with cars is SUVs. Can someone please tell me why every fucking soccer mom, teenager, and city person need a motherfucking SUV? YOU ARE WASTING PRECIOUS PLANETARY RESOURCES!

Overpopulation –
There are too many people in the world. Period. With all of the medical advances it seems like people are soon going to be living forever. People are like blood sucking leeches to our environment. They take, use, destroy resources but how many people actually preserve or give back? People should have more self control and start using better judgment. THE WORLD DOES NOT NEED MORE FUCKING PEOPLE. We need to let certain dumbass genes die. Also, maybe G-d can help us with population control by giving us more natural disasters. Especially in the certain parts of the arab world.

We need to start giving back to our planet. We need to fight back against factories who pollute our water. We need to recycle. We need to make some restrictions on how many cars can be on the road. We need to get off of gas powered cars. We need to STOP CUTTING DOWN THE FUCKING RAINFORESTS! The rainforests help us all by giving us clean air to breathe. Why the fuck should we ever have to cut them down?

I can go on ranting about this forever, so I’ll just stop. Let’s make every day Earth Day.
